Everything Black People Did On WWE Tables, Ladders & Chairs 2017

All of the hype about this year's Tables, Ladders, and Chairs pay-per-view had zilch to do with black superstars. At least David Otunga was around...?

Sasha Banks defeats Alicia Fox



Yeah, Sasha basically beat Alicia's ass in the Kick-Off show. No surprises TBQH.



Cedric Alexander and Rich Swann defeat The Brian Kendrick and Jack Gallagher



I actually like seeing these four perform. If there was a way that Alexander and Rich Homie Swann could compete on the main roster for the Tag Titles, that'd be a dream come true. Not sure how I'm supposed to feel about them beating a whole dreadlock off of Swann's skull, but...



Jason Jordan defeats Elias



After spending most of the night throwing fruit at Elias, Black Angle got a match in the death spot against Elias. And won. Woopdidy doo.

Everything Black People Did on 'Raw': The Black Squad

It was seriously quiet for black folk on Raw this week (and every week?), but something amazing did, in fact, happen.

Jason Jordan, Titus O'Neil, and Apollo Crews linked up to win a match



Now I saw some other outlets getting huffy because "oh, it's the 'put all the black guys on one team'" gimmick, and usually this would piss me off, but it's not that far out of line. It's not like there hasn't been beef between Elias and Titus WORLDWIDE over the last few weeks. And hell, any time I can see three black guys win a match on Raw? Here. For. It.

Plus, it's better than some black-on-black crime, which we'll get into a little later. Hell, we might even see Jordan joining WORLDWIDE!



Cedrick Alexander beats Jack Gallagher



I can't front; it's hard to get excited for 205 Live. That said, I'm not mad at this match, primarily because we got to see Cedric and Rich Homie Swann buddied up.



And they were on the same side, which is more than I can say for this next match...

Sasha Banks defeats Alicia Fox



I don't know or can't remember why this is a feud; it has something to do with Fox feeling disrespected last week when she lost. Whatever, it's happening, and even though the obvious is occurring (Sasha winning, duh), it looks like this must go on.

Everything Black People Did On 'Raw': No Mizzies for Black Folk

On a night where The Shield reunited to kick off Raw, you knew our black brothers and sisters were going to be some also rans. Don't believe me? Here it go.\

Jason Jordan defeats Karl Anderson



Because 50/50 booking is still a thing. At least he won...but what does any of this mean?

Elias beats Apollo Crews...again



Why even continue to have matches in this series? Elias is continuing to defeat the black guy to set him up for...who? What does defeating Apollo every week even mean?

Cedric Alexander can't win a tag team match



Sure, this was used to get people familiar with Gallagher being a heel now, but goddamn. Should black folk just lay down?

Sasha Banks eliminates Alicia Fox...to then get eliminated by Emma



Now, this was basically a match to be the woman Asuka fucks the fuck up during TLC, but did we need black-on-black defeats to then get a defeat by Emma? I give up.

Everything That Black People Did On 'Raw': Full Circle (Almost)

Welp, Booker T's back, and Jason Jordan had a surprise for everyone.



That's right, they tried to recreate the Cena/Angle magic from 15 years ago.

Jason Jordan takes on John Cena



After last week's insane Cena/Reigns promo, it was kind of perfect to have Cena take on a new guy. Of course, that means Jordan loses to Cena, which turned into another Reigns/Cena segment. What the hell is going on with Jason Jordan?

Sasha Banks lost a tag team match



At least she got her shit off?


Cedric Alexander helped Enzo Amore get a win



Sure, Enzo's gonna be the biggest thing on 205 Live, but does he need to get there on the back of workhorses like Cedric Alexander?

Everything Black People Did on 'Raw': BKLYN Edition

One night removed from SummerSlam and...black people haven't really advanced at all. Don't believe me? Just watch.

R-Truth gets his ass kicked by Elias, again



This was legit the first black superstar to hit the program. No explanation of where he was at SummerSlam...but you know. And Truth lost!

Cedric Alexander and Rich Swann are on the winning team



Not sure if an eight-man 205 Live tag team match was necessary, but it's dope to see the black cruiserweights squad up.

Sasha Banks talked a lot.



And I don't know about you, but I'm really not feeling Sasha's promos. Almost thankful Alexa broke it up.

Jason Jordan loses...again



Why they put him up against Finn Balor is anyone's guess. What was the point of even bringing him to Raw? Why did he get to go up against Finn? What is going on?

Everything Black People Did on 'Raw' (7/10/2017 Edition)

After Great Balls of Fire proved that only one black Superstar deserves to be on a decent pay-per-view, we're back with another edition of Raw, following up a week where most of the black Superstars (who aren't named Titus or Apollo) actually got the wins (or the come-up) on their opponents.

Let's see how black folk fared on Raw this week.

Booker T said "contentionship"

You can't make this shit up. It also looks like Booker T's IRL brother/Harlem Heat tag team partner (and former nWo member) Stevie Ray was in the building...and crashed a Gallows and Anderson interview?



Again, you can't make this shit up.

Sasha Banks competed in the same match from last week



After winning her match against WWE Raw Women's Champion Alexa Bliss at Great Balls of Fire by COUNT OUT, Banks and Bayley teamed up once again to battle Bliss and Nia Jax in a tag match. This week, the seemingly-forgotten Bayley got the pin, but Sasha and Alexa's feud must continue, so they faced off. #shrug



R-Truth loses to Goldust



After getting the one-up on Goldust last week, R-Truth goes out like he did the week prior: by getting ran into the ringpost. It appears to be his kryptonite.

Cedric Alexander and Akira Tozawa defeat Noam Dar and Neville



This match is important because, including the referee, there were four people doing shit in this match (Cedric was actually wrestling, and Titus O'Neil AND Alicia Fox were ringside). It's 205 Live, though, so...at least Cedric got to show off his moves.



And yeah, that's about it. Highkey need the WWE to hire some more black Superstars, so these posts can be about more than the same like 5 or 6 people. Continue Reading
